To All Present and Former Players, Parents and Supporters:

I personally want to thank each of you for all your support over these past seven years. Thank you to all those responsible for all the work you did with the Alumni game. A special thanks to those dads that showed at the field on numerous occasions for work related tasks. Words will never be able to do justice for all you all have done for me. From the bottom of my heart I thank all you parents for giving me the opportunity to work with, coach, and share in the molding of your sons lives these past seven years. It was an experience and pleasure that I will never forget.

I have been working with and teaching kids about the great game of baseball for over 40 years. There is nothing I get more enjoyment out of than watching teams grow and mature in their knowledge and skill in this great game. It is however not only on the baseball field that I gain great satisfaction from watching kids develop. I enjoy it wherever I am involved in education; from the football field to the adaptive PE class I had this year. I could be having a very bad day, but when I came into 5th period and saw a student’s great smile from a wheelchair, I knew that things would be all right. I will miss all this tremendously.

Please know that I will always consider you my friends and that you are always welcome to call, e-mail, or come see me at any time. You and your families will always hold a very special place in my heart. I wish the best of luck to the Tigers of 2005 and all the future Tiger teams.

God bless you and your families,

Coach Tom Hancock
